The surf school Breitenbrunn stands for authentic watersports. Now run by the second generation of the family, the charming stilt hut at the tip of the shore blends relaxed surfer vibes with athletic dynamism – just like back in the day.

Whether individually supervised courses or equipment rental: windsurfing, wing foiling, and kitesurfing are part of the diverse offering, as well as stand-up paddling and kayaking for those who prefer to enjoy the lake at a more leisurely pace.

At the Breitenbrunn sailing school, you can learn to sail or consolidate your knowledge. Our training courses are very practice-oriented and we’re out with you, sailing on the water, right from day one. In the afternoons, you can listen to our instructors as they teach the theoretical elements of sailing in a pleasant atmosphere. Our boat hire station is open from the start of April to the end of September. The Lakeside Sailing Club is pleased to present a new sailing concept for Breitenbrunn, one which epitomises a modern club. Its primary focus is the long-term and sustainable pursuit of sailing as a sport in Breitenbrunn. The aim of the club, which is equipped with modern infrastructure, is to offer all the amenities of a professional sports club, but without excluding other types of water sport.

The kitesurfing spot in Breitenbrunn is the meeting point for all kitesurfers when the south wind is blowing. It is leased by the FKN kite club and is exclusively available to its members. Both day and annual memberships are available, and every kitesurfer must have one in order to go out on the water.

Membership contributions actively help preserve and further develop the sport of kitesurfing. At the same time, you become part of the FKN community and benefit from attractive perks offered by partner companies.

After kitesurfing, we hang out at our cozy home base. There, you also have the opportunity to test equipment from Woodboard, take kite lessons, or try wing foiling, windsurfing, SUP boards, and kayaks!

RC Breitenbrunn offers experienced rowers an unparalleled rowing experience on Lake Neusiedl. Thanks to the boat park, rowing is possible in almost any conditions, whether that be in a racing boat on water that is as smooth as glass or in a coastal rower for when things get a little choppier. The club also offers rowing tours and training camps.   Beginner courses are available for anyone who wants to learn how to row.

Kayaking

Kayak over Lake Neusiedl, paddle through reed canals, discover the birdlife or simply glide into the sunset. Our club offers beginner courses as well as guided tours. Alternatively, you can use the boat park on an individual basis by taking out a day membership.

1 passion – 200 members. The sailor association has two missions, namely communal sailing and sailing events. It also represents the interests of sailors vis-à-vis the harbour operator.
